Ninjas in Pyjamas came out on top of Group A at the AMD Sapphire CS:GO Invitational with a perfect 12 points from four matches, while ESC Gaming came in fourth place. The Polish side had to settle for fourth in Group A following losses to BuyKey and NiP, with their two victories coming against Brussels Guardians (16-13) and zNation (16-9). ESC will still progress to the quarter-finals, but their fourth-place group finish means that they will have to tackle the team that tops Group B, quite possibly VeryGames. ESWC and DreamHack Winter champions NiP breezed through their first matches in Prague and finished the group stage with an impressive +37 round record.
zNation and BuyKey finished second and third, respectively, while Brussels Guardians were rock bottom, without a single point. Group B will kick off at 17:30 , featuring not only VeryGames, but also k1ck, eXtensive, MYDGB.NET and dAT Team. |
